Updating Git Submodules

A Git submodule is a reference to another project. When creating software, we often utilize other libraries or packages to create a separation of concerns or to prevent reinventing the wheel. What is the best way to bundle those external libraries with your project? If you want control over the library, including the library via a CDN or package manager is not optimal. This method makes it difficult to modify the source code of the library if that becomes necessary. »

Vim Progress Update

I began my Vim journey a while back. I am not using Vim at the time of writing this post. Okay, now that all the Vim enthusiasts have left… I am still using Vim key bindings because they are freaking amazing. There goes all the Vim purists. Just kidding! I have nothing against Vim enthusiasts or purists. On the contrary, I think that they are awesome and I bet they are much more productive than I can ever hope to be. »

TrapZone Escape Rooms: Asylum

I just had the most fun I have had in a while. Over the weekend, my girlfriend and I went to an escape room for the first time! Unfortunately, taking photos was not allowed so you will just have to read through my boring awesome recollection. The place we chose to loose our escape room virginity is called The Asylum by TrapZone Escape Rooms.
